Maryland Bass Nation Kayak Division (B.A.S.S.)

2023 Schedules Set For MD Bass Nation Kayak Affiliated Clubs

Most of the schedules for the regions top Kayak Bass Fishing trails, club or series have been set for the 2023 season.

The Maryland B.A.S.S Nation Kayak Division has designated the site of its State Championship for 2023 and it will take place on the Upper Chesapeake Bay on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

To qualify for the Championship there are a few things that anglers must do.

Firstly, anglers must join one of the three affiliated kayak fishing clubs with the Maryland B.A.S.S Nation Kayak Division. These three sanctioned clubs for 2023 are as follows:

Mid-Atlantic Kayak Bass Fishing Club- MAKBF merged with the Delaware Paddlesports Series for 2023, River RunnerZ and Appalachian Kayak Angler Club. These clubs offer various events from river to reservoir throughout the season covering the state of Maryland. (Each of these clubs have pages/groups on Facebook)

Secondly, anglers must join Maryland B.A.S.S Nation thru an affiliated club.

Thirdly, anglers must fish at least three club tournaments with affiliated club.

Meeting these three conditions will qualify anglers to fish in the Maryland B.A.S.S Nation Kayak Division State Championship where the top 10% from the 2023 Championship field will qualify for the 2024 BASSMASTER KAYAK CLASSIC.
